The Twilight Saga: New Moon Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Review

The next installment of the “Twilight” movie series will premiere Friday and tickets are already selling out. The Twilight franchise saw 30 million people buy tickets to the first movie, and over 70 million copies of the Twilight books have been sold.

It's no wonder then that the executives behind the Twilight movies hired famous music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas (the brains behind the music selections for TV shows like The O.C., Gossip Girl, and Grey's Anatomy) to oversee the soundtracks to the four films.

Technology and such

"When I was a kid, I was obsessed with dinosaurs. I remember taking paintbrushes with me to the playground and sitting in the dirt looking for fossils.

I would spend days digging holes and brushing aside the sand, convinced that, one day, I would find the complete skeleton of a T-Rex and be the most celebrated 4 year old in town..."

Above is an excerpt of a commentary I recently wrote on how advancements in technology have changed the way children play and interact with others. It's in print in this week's Coast Report and also online HERE.

Next I'll be writing a review of the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack.

Stay tuned....
